About Lisa

Tacoma is my home.  I was a first grade teacher in Thailand for three years and it helped me to appreciate the beauty and climate of the Pacific Northwest.  I now have a lot of pride in my hometown.  I can’t imagine living anywhere else!

I love color.  All my dishes are different colors, shapes and sizes because I couldn’t pick just one design or shade.

I love babies.  I would have a zillion babies if it weren’t for the 40 weeks of pregnancy and not being able to get a good night’s sleep.

I love CrossFit.  I feel stronger, faster and healthier than ever before. I never thought that I would be able to do pull-ups!

Most of all I love my family.  I met my husband at a dance when I was 18.  His roommate told him to find the cutest girl in the room and ask her to dance.  I still get giddy when I think about him picking me!  My daughter Finley is delightful, spunky and energetic.  My son Xavier is darling, snuggly, and good at growling and scowling.

And my middle name really is Monet.
